Editorial manager at the Roosevelt Institute, a think tank and nonprofit advancing progressive economic and social policy.

Then:

Staff writer at American Oversight, a nonprofit government watchdog that uses FOIA and public records requests to promote transparency and accountability. I wrote about investigations into democracy and elections, voting rights, immigration, and civil rights.

Background:

  • Master’s in urban + social policy and technology, media, + communications from Columbia SIPA, where I also wrote articles for SIPA News and created digital content as a news and communications assistant.

  • Writer for GlacierHub, a featured section of the Columbia Climate School’s news hub, State of the Planet. I wrote stories about environmental science and the social, political, and scientific aspects of glaciers and the communities that live by them.

  • Communications and research assistant writing and managing digital content about fair housing, disability rights, and employment discrimination at the Equal Rights Center.
